A team from University of Basrah won at INTILAQ competition 2022, which is a competition targeting university students who have a passion for business leadership or who have ideas or commercial projects. The competition started in January at the beginning of this year, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation with the German GIZ organization and its partners. The primary goal of this competition was to learn the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, the typical plan of commercial work, the methodology of design thinking, marketing, sales, and other important topics in the field of entrepreneurship. Where the Upgrowth team from University of Basrah won among 37 Iraqi universities, and after 120 of the basic workshops qualified to reach the final stage and win the second place from their project aims to provide virtual reality training for surgeons for non-recurring surgeries before performing them realistically to reduce the error percentage.
