Calling a new batch of accounting graduates to the Basrah Gas Company employment program for the first round graduates of 2023

The Career Development Center, within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the University of Basra (UoB) and Basra Gas Company (BGC), announces the availability of a number of job opportunities within the Basra Gas Company's graduate employment program for the year 2023.

The upcoming interviews will target graduates of the College of Management and Economics, Accounting Department, for the morning study program for the current academic year 2022-2023 (graduates up to sequence number one hundred (100) who have not been previously invited), starting from sequence 11 (Ayat Abdul Kareem Ali Aboud) up to sequence 100 (Abbas Kazim Karim Ibrahim).

The process for the English language proficiency test is as follows:

  1. Applicants are required to prepare an English-language resume (CV), and a printed copy of the CV should be submitted upon arrival at the English language proficiency test.

  2. The English language proficiency tests will be conducted at the University of Basra's headquarters located in the Ashar district (on the Basra Corniche). Graduates are required to arrive before 8:00 AM on the specified date, carrying an original official ID document to prove their identity. The accepted identity documents include the national ID card, ID with a nationality certificate, or a passport (preferred).

  3. The names of those who achieve an acceptable level of English proficiency will be publicly announced through the official media channels of the Career Development Center in preparation for the subsequent stages of tests and initial interviews at the company's premises.

  4. Those who successfully pass the English language proficiency tests will be summoned to attend interviews at the Basra Gas Company's site in Khor Al Zubair. The interviews will be conducted by specialized committees and in the English language exclusively.

Important Note:

If a graduate successfully passes all stages of testing and receives a job offer from Basra Gas Company, they must fully terminate any other employment commitments, as employees of Basra Gas Company are not allowed to work for any other organization, whether in the public or private sector, according to the company's human resources policy.
