The College of Engineering at the University of Basra received a delegation from the international company KBR as part of the cooperation between the college and the Department of Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up at the University of Basra.

The visit aimed to conduct job interviews with College of Engineering graduates from various disciplines to select outstanding talents for the company's projects inside and outside Iraq.

The college administration emphasized that this initiative aims to enhance employment opportunities for students and graduates of the University of Basra and to share direct communication channels with leading companies in the fields of engineering, energy, and construction.

For their part, KBR representatives expressed their interest in the level of graduates from the College of Engineering and their technical and scientific competence, praising the university's efforts in developing students' skills and preparing them for the job market.

At the conclusion of the visit, it was agreed to continue cooperation and organize similar events in the future, which will contribute to supporting the careers of university graduates and enabling them to obtain suitable job opportunities.
