The Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basra, under the supervision of instructor Sarah Salem Mohammed, organized a field training visit for newly graduated veterinarians to the Al-Afandi Equestrian Academy. This visit was part of the practical training programs aimed at developing graduates' skills and enabling them to meet the demands of the job market.

The visit included learning about professional horse handling techniques, identifying different horse breeds, and acquiring essential practical skills in field veterinary medicine. This enhances the graduates' readiness to enter the professional environment with high efficiency.
