The College of Administration and Economics, through its Career Development and Employment Unit at the University of Basra, organized a workshop on skills for entering the job market.

The workshop aimed to introduce students to the essential skills required in the modern job market and highlight its key pillars, thereby bridging the gap between academic and practical knowledge and raising professional awareness.

The workshop, presented by Dr. Bahaa Abdul-Razzaq Qasim and instructor Shaimaa Qasim Mohsen, covered topics such as the pillars of the job market, the skills required of graduates, and the importance of developing personal and professional capabilities to enhance employment opportunities.

The workshop recommended the necessity of involving students in practical training programs and developing their resume and interview skills to meet the demands of the job market.
