The University of Basra organises a workshop entitled “The Fundamentals of Human Resources and Their Importance in the Public and Private Sectors”

The Department of Science and Technology Gardens / Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the University of Basra organised a workshop entitled “Fundamentals of Human Resources and Their Importance in the Public and Private Sectors”, as part of the summer camp activities.

The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of human resources management and its importance, and to show its role in achieving institutional success, whether in the public sector by improving the quality of services and raising the efficiency of performance, or in the private sector by enhancing productivity and competitive excellence, as well as developing the skills of participants in the basics of human resources management.

The workshop, which was presented by Ms. Fatima Jabbar Khudair, included an introduction to the basics of human resources management, its most important functions, levels, and mechanisms for attracting, developing and managing performance, while providing content that suits different levels of participants, ranging from beginners to intermediate levels, which contributed to enhancing their knowledge and developing their skills in this field.
