The "Engineering Vision" Program Opens at the kind invitation of the President of the Engineers Syndicate - Basra Branch, Mr. Karar Al-Abadi.
The opening ceremony of the "Engineering Vision" training program, in its first season, was held in the hall of the Engineers Syndicate - Basra Branch on Sunday evening, August 24, 2025. The program is organized by the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate - Basra Branch, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the professional and engineering skills of students and graduates.

The training event was attended by a number of prominent academic figures, including:
• Professor Mufid Turki, Dean of the College of Engineering - University of Basra
• Professor Shukri Shaker Faleh, Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department
• Dr. Ghazwan Abdul Latif, Director of the Rehabilitation and Employment Center

The program addressed multiple themes aimed at preparing students and graduates for the labor market through specialized training workshops and opening up opportunities for cooperation with international and local companies, enhancing employment opportunities and keeping pace with market requirements.

The attendees emphasized the importance of these qualitative initiatives in linking academic education with practical aspects, and empowering students with the necessary skills that qualify them to compete in various fields of work.
