The symposium was honored by the presence of the respected President of Basra University, Dr. Saad Shaheen, in addition to the assistants of the deans, heads of departments and centers, and a large group of university teachers, where the symposium shed light on the above-mentioned grants and how to apply for them. By taking advantage of the opportunities available from grants and others to set up projects that have a long-term impact in developing the skills of young students and graduates of the university, in addition to raising the level of the teaching and administrative staff in particular. The symposium also discussed the summer training program project launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which includes training students in the private sector and trying to find out the most important implementation stages of the program, noting that the program was implemented at Basra University for the first time in the 2019-2020 academic year. Out of our keenness to support youth energies and creative ideas, we had the honor to receive a group of young people from among the administrative staff working in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology who made a presentation on a special project aimed at developing the administrative systems in place at the university, and in conclusion the door was opened for discussion to receive opinions And the proposals of the gentlemen, answering many related questions.
